Empowering a supportive living environment for young adults
ZNET Inc. is an emerging non-profit that provides a unique, empowering and supportive living environment for young adults (ages 18-30) who were in the foster care system as well as individuals who have no one to help them.
Our approach is personalized, our mission is to empower these young adults to become self-sufficient individuals who are equipped with the necessary skills and resources, and To have a loving and nurturing environment, where they will feel a part of a family. To help them discover there identity is Jesus christ, We know God can do a miracle and turn everyones mess into a message, no one is to far gone. Through collaboration with other non-profit organizations, we strive to offer comprehensive care and individual plans for these young adults to heal from past hurts and trauma and to learn and grow into their full potential. Our focus is on mentorship, discipleship, that will positively impact their lives to where they have a full transformation.
The Need
The ZNET organization addresses several needs and gaps in services found once they leave the foster care system.
We are currently in a epediemic and The rise of addiction is greater then ever before, not including anger, rage and neglect, so many kids are taken away from there loved ones or dropped off by them for the government to be there parents. A life they didn’t choose, it chose them. A shadow hard to get away from there whole young years they face the fact every day being in these homes that they were unwanted or not fought for and now have traumas and abandonment issues with no sense of purpose feeling defeated and a lot of the time labeled and succum to the label and accept there past as there future. Well Znet wants to do everything in our God given strength to help pour into these young adults, destiny, purpose, and there full potential, we want to show them the love of God by being consistently there for them and loving through all the hurts and hang ups. We will teach them the word of God and give them resources to get counseling, mentorship, discipleship, schooling, learn trades, pursue there dreams and what God has gifted them to do.
Statics are clear that once the government stops funding these young adults a lot end up going down the wrong paths if they havent already. The core issue is identity and purpose. We have seen this in so many lives. Once you know why you’re here and what you’ve been called here to do, you will live in victory and strive to do the calling of God placed on your life.
Every year 4,000 kids age out of foster care in California. We want to help these young adults and we know we will have so many transformation stories.
Znet inc program focuses on discipleship, mentorship, trade learning, going to school, pursing dreams, therapy, counseling, the list goes on, we are here to support and help in every area of their lives. Znet’s heart is to be there for them for the rest of their lives. Just like parents they will be able to call on us.
